This kitchen remodel in Eugene Oregon was a lot of fun.  We sourced a lot of the materials from Portland Oregon, like the IKEA Sofielund cabinets, Walnut Laminate, Modern matte glass subway tiles.  We worked with these home owners several years ago and got to ground breaking day on a custom hillside modern new home, but circumstances out of the home owners control halted the process.  They bought this home within the last year knowing they needed a big kitchen remodel.  The planning process went through at least six different kitchen designs and lots of materials.  

The before kitchen was very closed in with large soffits and fluorescent lighting.  There were a lot of very odd structural things going on in the ceiling because the dining room was an addition from about 15-20 years ago.  We had to do some engineering and structural supports to raise the ceiling and take out the soffits. 

The Sofielund IKEA cabinets were a great price to get the home owners everything they wanted. Sofielund has a walnut effect, but we had to buy custom laminate that matched the cabinets to create the open shelving on the backside of the bar, and the book cases to the left and right of the IKEA Pax wardrobe system in the dining room.

Sofielund IKEA cabinets, Wolf range, Stainless steel counter top is on the island with sand blasted tempered glass bar counter top.  Custom glass pendants lights hang around the custom vent hood made in Oregon.  12x24" white tile are on the butting up against the new Oak hard wood flooring. 

Custom made bookcase below the sand blasted glass counter top.  IKEA PAX closet was used as pantry storage on the left with custom made shelving.  Walnut laminate was used to reproduce IKEA Sofielund cabinets.  White Rubrik upper cabinets were installed with Sofielund trim. 

Kraus undermount farm sink with Danze commericial faucet installed.  Bosch dishwasher.  The white linen subway floor tile makes a great impact on the previously dark kitchen remodel. 

 Kraus 36 inch Farmhouse Apron Single Bowl 16 gauge Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink  and the Danze D455158SS Parma Single Handle faucet were used along with Caesarstone quartz counter top.   

 We installed 2 24" ikea pullout pantries side by side.  The pull out drawers make getting to everything easy.  German blum hardware is used on all their cabinetry which is some of the best hardware in the world.  Pental quartz counter top.  

Open concept kitchen and dining room remodel really brightened up the rooms and made it a family and gathering friendly space.  

 The island bar counter top is made of glass.  The glass counter top is sandblasted and tempered which give it its unique light blue tone.

The kitchen was closed in and dark with dated cabinetry and a large flourescent ceiling light that we removed.  

All new appliances, cabinets, counter top, backsplash, lighting and flooring were installed.
